To mark the 40th anniversary of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, this five-and-a-half-hour, bi-coastal event kicks off at 8pm ET with a special two-hour event hosted by Jenny McCarthy and Fergie called New Year’s Rockin’ Eve: The 40th Anniversary Party. McCarthy will also be back later to report once again from Times Square for the annual New Year’s ball drop festivities, and Dick Clark will count down to midnight from Times Square. Pitbull, Hot Chelle Rae, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are among the performers that have been announced.
