Where We Left Off: Shifting relationships and a tough economy have hit the ladies and their families hard.
What to Expect: In Season 5, the ladies prove their tenacity by continuing to live life unabashedly large, as Vicki takes her family on a trip to Italy, and the girls visit San Francisco and Ft. Lauderdale for lavish getaways. Vicki’s two kids are working and doing well, allowing her more time to focus on her marriage to Donn. Tamra is coping with family and financial concerns, along with changes in a close relationship. Lynne is also facing financial issues and a possible eviction from her home. Gretchen is in the aftermath of the devastating loss of her fiance, Jeff, but finds a surprising new love interest. Jeana’s real estate business has been hit the hardest, and she makes the decision to turn her focus away from the ladies to concentrate more on work and family.
The ladies say goodbye this season to longtime housewife Jeana Keough, but welcome Alexis Bellino to the group. Alexis is a 32-year-old stay-at-home mom of three with a “body that defies all logic” who insists on putting the needs of her husband Jim first.
