What happened in 2009?

What’s It All About? In this animated Family Guy spinoff, the Griffins’ neighbor Cleveland Brown moves with his 14-year-old son Cleveland Jr. back to his hometown of Stoolbend, Va., where he reconnects with his old high-school crush. The pilot seems like a subpar episode of Family Guy, but once the establishment of the premise is out of the way we expect things to get better. Besides, we wouldn’t bet against any show that comes with a built-in audience and guest appearances by Kanye West and Taraji P. Henson.

    What happened in 2010?

What To Expect Entering its second season, The Cleveland Show follows everyone's favorite soft-spoken neighbor, Cleveland Brown (voice of Mike Henry), as he settles into married life with his high school sweetheart and their blended family in his hometown of Stoolbend, Va. This season, Cleveland attempts to prove his athletic prowess, Roberta gets distracted with a new love interest and Rallo pals around with three new friends voiced by Grammy Award winners T-Pain and Will.I.Am and comedy legend Carl Reiner. Additionally, the Brown family hits the road and travels to some exotic locales. The series' star-studded sophomore season will include guest voice appearances by Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Tony Hawk and cast members from the hit series Glee. In an episode slated to air this winter, NBA stars Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade also make guest voice appearances.

In the season premiere, Kanye West makes a return guest voice appearance as Kenny West, a single dad and struggling rapper whom Cleveland takes under his wing in an attempt to prove his own prowess after receiving some surprising news about his childhood basketball camp nemesis. Together, Cleveland and Kenny write, record and perform a new hit single, “Be-Cleve in Yourself.” The track burns up the charts and ignites Kenny’s new rap career, but leaves Cleveland behind in the dust.
