Who Is In It? Ron Perlman, Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Kim Coates, Ryan Hurst, David Hasselhoff, Danny Trejo
Where We Left Off: SAMCRO took an epic voyage across the pond to Ireland, where Jax recovered his baby boy, Abel, and found out he had a half-sister (whom he nearly bedded before the truth came to light). Back stateside, Jax was able to outmaneuver Agent Stahl and Jimmy O’Phelan, both of whom paid the ultimate price.
What To Expect: Much of the crew will spend some (mostly) offscreen time in prison, finally paying up for that shootout in Season 2, and they’ll come back to find new threats in Charming from the likes of a new sheriff (Rockmond Dunbar) and prosecutor (Ray McKinnon). David Hasselhoff already wins the award for least likely guest star as he logs time as a well-endowed porn star, but he’s evened out somewhat by Danny Trejo (Machete), for whom it was just a matter of time before he ended up on Sons of Anarchy. Trejo is playing a former Mexican military commando.
New Faces: Adam Arkin and Henry Rollins guest star as leaders of a white separatist group.
Where We Left Off: The unintended murder of Donna further widened cracks in the motorcycle club, ramping up the conflict between motorcycle club president Clay (Ron Perlman) and the heir apparent, Jax (Charlie Hunnam), who continued to find inspiration in his late father’s manuscript.
What to Expect: In the wake of Donna’s death, Jax and the club face fallout, bringing tensions to a new high. Exacerbating the situation is the arrival in Charming, Calif., of LOAN, the League of American Nationalists, which advocates white supremacy. One of its members opens a cigar shop on Main Street, aiming to ingratiate himself with the community and force out the club’s operations.
