Mysteries at the Museum

Airs: Tuesdays, 8pm

Network: Travel Channel

American museums hold treasures of the past but, as this series proves, behind many of them are tales of scandal, mystery, murder and intrigue. Every episode looks at the background of different artifacts, such as a diary from an arctic exploration, a stone giant thought to be the remnant of a race of enormous people, the Fiji mermaid, and a futuristic house that almost changed the world.

This is a really interesting show, but I may, sadly, give it up. I just can’t stand listening to how overwrought it is. The show is better than that. I wish they would just tone down the narrator and video cuts. The audience is better than what they’re giving it credit for too. It’s a great show. Stop the juvenile presentation and let us just enjoy it.
