Sorry to be informal…but James I truly need help. I’ve lived in this home for 34 years. I actually came from Dallas Texas to help my mother. I did the best I could for her while she lived. She has past and I have remained in the house. It’s a very nice home, but it needs to be brought up to the current time. I’ve started to get “specs” for the floors, (foyer, and kitchen)colors for painting the kitchen, foyer, and livingroom before winter sets in. I saw your show Tuesday (Missouri). I wish you could help me. I’m so sincere. I can’t do this alone. Please respone to my request. I’m no spring chicken. If diy had been in existence before now I would have tried to contact you. Help me please.

    Thanks

    Ms. Marceline

On 11/02/10 there was a couple that was having Grante tiles 26 x 26 instead of a slab installed; with a beautiful bull nose. I would like to know where they purchased from? I’m always looking for DIY projects.

I need your help. I am very handy and have done much to improve my house but am overwhelmed by the kitchen project. I am a single mom of 3, work full time and go to graduate school part time. I moved into my house in 2003. The kitchen was awful then and still is now. It is small and crowded. I love to entertain but am embarrassed by the kitchen. Please help me!

Hey, we have a fantastic kitchen, but it is old and dated. It is big, but we would like to make some improvements in the overall design anyway. More counter space is required, as too much is taken up with an oven and the garbage is right infront of the fridge, so it is difficult to open the fridge while someone is cutting on the counter. My husband is somewhat handy, but new design would be challenging for Rob, and changing countertops and cabinets and trying to figure out if skylights are possible, and widening a window would be challenging for him for sure. Can you help us out? Sincerely, Sue & Owen

OMG! I HATE MY KITCHEN!I hate it so much that I have sold all of my living room and dining room furniture to financially assit with a kitchen remodel and simply, it’s time to knock down a wall or two for an open floor plan. I have lived in my home for 14 years and after a long hard day of work (work for manufacturing motorcycle company), I want to smile when I walk in my front door. Instead I want to cry because of all the unfinished projects my husband has yet to complete. I have a budget,I have pictures, I have vacation in the spring 2012,and I have a husband that knows how to work a drill, but I don’t have a clue on how to really begin this project. James, can you please help me?
