This has been a very corrupt system, however I question the wisdom of the Michigan Governor in paying him over $280,000 when the district is in the red. The environment can be dangerous, the district should encourage the teachers who are committed to improving the district/not blame them for administrative thefts. I thought that the special was well put together, however, it did show more negative than positive incidents that actually happen at Henry Ford. It is a reality that kids like Debbie and Derek exist, however, we have a lot of kids like Douglass Brooks. In addition, I feel that there should have been a balance shown in the special. Many of the educator such as myself, graduated from dps schools and have done well. Hightlight more positive information for future specials!
