What’s It All About? Kids love dinosaurs. Kids love trains. Why not put ’em together? That’s the starting point for this CGI-animated series from The Jim Henson Company. Buddy — a preschool-aged Tyrannosaurus Rex — and his adoptive family of Pteranodons go all aboard the Dinosaur Train to visit many different eras to discover and learn as much as they can about these fascinating creatures. The animation keeps the young ones entertained, but even parents will be surprised what they learn as the train cruises along its Jurassic track.

My 2 yr old grandson just loves Dinosaur Train. Are the series on tape, dvd yet? I hope so – this would make a greatest Christmas gift!!!

I am wondering the same thing. Are there any DVD’s out yet? Also my son’s birthday is coming up and he wants a Dinosaur Train Themed party, but I can’t find any supplies. Is there anything like that available?

Hello all, I have searched and searched and I do not think that this show has been posted on DVD yet, it will not probably come out on DVD til next year soemtime. I feel your needs for my daughter who is two and a half loves this too thank goodness for DVR so we record all episodes and she watches it all day.
I just wanted to say how much my three yr.old son loves Dinosaur Train. He’s amazed with dinosaurs and trains too. He gets so upset when the show is over. I can’t wait til i can get the series on dvd. He has a birthday in Feb.and that’s all he talks about a dinosuar Birthday!

I have looked everywhere and still cant find it on DVD. Since it is such a new show it will probably take a year or so before it is on DVD. I just DVR all the episodes and re watch then just about everyday with my 2 year old son who just loves dinosaurs.

Has anyone found cool dinosaur train birthday party ideas? I found stickers and iron ons on ebay but heard the company that got the licensing agreement isn’t making anythign until later this year. My boy loves dinosaur train and I would love to be able to put togehter a cool party for his 3rd.
My grandson loves dinosaurs and trains and I know that he would love this show. However, they do not have the viewing in their area in Maine.
Can you tell me if the series if available on dvd for 2009. I found the Under the Sea DVD and the Dino-Mighty Music DVD; but I want more for him.
