Who Is In It? Marg Helgenberger, Paul Guilfoyle, Ted Danson, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham, David Berman, Jorja Fox
Where We Left Off: The group dealt with the fallout of Ray having killed Nate Haskell, and the idea that he did it out of vengeance.
What to Expect: Ted Danson will take over the reins as boss for the departing Laurence Fishburne for the show’s 12th season, bringing a lighter personality into the fold. Jorja Fox returns as a series regular, while original star Marg Helgenberger is expected to leave the show in January.
Official CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Site
Where We Left Off: The team had adjusted to the absence of leader Gil Grissom (William Petersen) and the presence of new CSI Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne), who had to shoot and kill a murderer in the line of duty.
What to Expect: After last season’s cast upheavals -- with Petersen out and Fishburne in -- no major cast changes have been announced for Season 10. But Jorja Fox, in the role of former CSI Sara Sidle, will be back for a few episodes, starting with the season premiere. No word on whether her boyfriend, Grissom, will also make an appearance (but Petersen remains an executive producer on the series).
Where We Left Off: Ray (Laurence Fishburne) was left lying and bloodied on the floor, after being attacked by Haskell (Bill Irwin).
What to Expect: TV's signature procedural has apparently caught Bieber Fever. Pop sensation Justin Bieber guest-stars in the season premiere as a troubled teen. Jorja Fox is also expected to return as Sara Sidle.
Bieber makes his acting debut in "Shock Waves," the 11th season premiere. Langston fights for his life after being stabbed by pscyhopath Nate Haskell, while the other CSIs attend a funeral that turns deadly. Bieber plays Jason McCann, a teen faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother, a decision that leads him to an explosive confrontation with the CSIs.

Will miss Laurence Fishburne. He brought class to the show; the CSI folks seemed to be again working as a team. Ted Danson..I don’t think so. Jorja Fox..I don’t think so. Bringing her back was a terrible idea. Marg Helgenberger will also be a loss for the show. She’s one classy lady. I’ve watched the show since it’s beginning but may taper off my viewing with these changes.
