Then: While none of the six principals from Friends have really lit the TV world on fire since that series ended in 2004, one could argue that Cox scored the closest thing to a hit with her 2007-08 FX series Dirt. Still, we’ll always remember her as Monica — well, that and as the girl who danced with Bruce Springsteen in his “Dancing in the Dark” video.
Now: We might not care for Cox’s new series, but in playing a woman who’s supposedly past her physical prime, at least she’s going against type. Cox still looks great, even if ABC’s Cougar Town doesn’t.
