With an executive-producing roster led by entertainment wunderkind Jerry Bruckheimer and stocked with other veterans of the CSI franchise, The Mentalist, Without a Trace and Lost, it’s little surprise that Chase’s weekly fugitive hunts are as gripping and well-crafted as a good action movie. And if you’ve had your fill of stiletto-wearing law-women in skintight fashions and Macy’s-counter makeup, Giddish’s naturally fetching U.S. Marshal Annie Frost — running like hell in her jeans and cowboy boots, and crooning Waylon Jennings — is as refreshing as a frosty bottle of the Shiner Bock she favors.
