Cruikshank says: “Fred’s based on, like – I, like the way kids act around the age of six and, I like that kind of age, like how they’re always throwing temper tantrums and so curious about everything. And I don’t know. I just, like, took a lot of things that I thought were funny and put it into this character. I never put much thought into it. Like, I never thought it over at all. I kind of just went with it, and it all just fell into place.”
