This comedy panel series is hosted by Graham Norton, and forces celebrities and comedians to discuss ridiculous scenarios. From BBC America: “Based on popular British panel-style shows, each week celebrities and comedians are asked to contemplate and discuss ridiculous predicaments and moral quandaries. Would you rather permanently lose your thumbs or a cousin? Would you rather land a plane on ecstasy or diffuse a bomb with a hangover? Would you rather eat dog food for a year or get shot in the knee? After a hilarious and candid debate the panelists must ultimately decide what they’d rather do and Graham picks his favorite response.” The first group of celebrity panelists include Whoopi Goldberg, Cyndi Lauper, Stanley Tucci, Alan Cumming, Scott Adsit and Judah Friedlander.

What’s It All About? Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment produced this sequel to the 2004 theatrical hit The Cookout, in which suspended pro-basketball player star Todd Anderson plays the game of his life to rescue his family. When he appears on The Wendy Williams Show to set the record straight about being wrongly kicked out of the league, Todd gets the shock of his life when Wendy bombards him with stories of outrageous baby mama drama, fabricated scandals and crazed fans. To clear his “good name,” Todd recounts the shocking tale of how he and his family were kidnapped and blackmailed by Bling Bling’s nutty brother, Coach Ashmokeem.

Angry Boys

As he did before in Summer Heights High and We Can Be Heroes, Chris Lilley stars in a mock documentary series playing multiple roles in HBO’s new comedy Angry Boys. According to HBO, Angry Boys “explores the lives, dreams and aspirations of males in present-day society, spotlighting six characters, all portrayed by Lilley, from a pair of 17-year-old twin boys in Australia to a 24-year-old Los Angeles-based rapper.”

The Life and Times of Tim

This animated comedy is about average guy Tim (voiced by creator Steve Dildarian), who constantly makes wrong decisions and finds himself in awkward situations. Saved from cancellation, The Life and Times of Tim is back for a 10-episode third season on HBO beginning Dec. 19.

I Just Want My Pants Back

This new scripted comedy follows Jason Strider (Vack) and his friends as they navigate the minefield of their post-college years. Jason struggles with sex, love, career and friendship as a twentysomething in Brooklyn. He works in a menial job at a casting agency, but his priorities are hanging out with his friends, going to bars and trying to hook up with women. But when a one-night stand steals his heart and his pants, Jason goes on a quest to find his pants (and, presumably, the girl who stole them). Based on the book of the same name by David J. Rosen. MTV has ordered 12 episodes for an early 2012 premiere.

In Season 3, having skirted the watchful eyes of family and friends, Ray and Tanya are taking their business to the next level. But can they continue to fly under the radar of the law after setting up a new, very public front for their gigolo enterprise?

Recurring guest stars on the third season include Kaitlin Doubleday as Logan, a former student of Ray’s; Ana Ortiz, as Lydia, a new client of Ray’s who likes to dress up like a cop; and Matt Walsh as Dr. Matt Kopylov, who hires Jessica to work in his office and is the husband of her estranged husband Ronnie’s mistress.

Yes, there is yet another Tyler Perry comedy on TBS. Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse joins Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Meet the Browns on the schedule. This new series is based on characters from the Why Did I Get Married? films, as Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith reprise their roles. The series will continue to follow the follows the ups-and-downs of married life for TV anchor Marcus (White) and salon owner Angela (Smith).

What’s It All About?: Two guys, unable to find work, dress up as women to land jobs as pharmaceutical reps. Immediately you think that they just remade Bosom Buddies. But this series won’t give TV another Tom Hanks (or Peter Scolari). Work It is so aggressively bad, and it seems aware of it.
