Cameron Crowe, the director and music journalist whose 1992 film Singles featured a soundtrack that helped open the door to the popularity of the Seattle grunge sound, crafts this documentary in honor of the 20th anniversary of one of the seminal bands of that genre — Pearl Jam.

American Underworld

Appropriate Adult

This two-part miniseries is based on the true story of how serial killer Fred West and his wife Rosemary were brought to justice, accused of murdering at least a dozen women in the UK between 1967 and 1978. It also details West’s relationship with his “appropriate adult” (a person who sat in on police interviews to safeguard his interests), Janet Leach.
