The work of true crime author Ann Rule comes to the small screen in Lifetime Movie Network’s two-night miniseries adaptation of Ann Rule’s Everything She Ever Wanted — the true story of a storybook marriage upended by greed and violence. Gina Gershon stars at Pat Allanson, a beautiful but greedy woman determined to become part of Atlanta’s elite society with her much younger husband Tom (Ryan McPartlin) in tow. When Pat’s hunger for power and status eclipses Tom ability to fund her desires, no one — not even their closest family members — are safe from her fury.

Rob Lowe and Lauren Holly star in Lifetime Movie Network’s film adaptation of Ann Rule’ best-selling true crime book about an outwardly perfect couple whose secrets and affairs have fatal consequences. Jenn and Bart Corbin (Stefanie von Pfetten and Lowe) seem to have the perfect marriage until Jenn discovers his affair with a beautiful coworker. Distraught, Jenn turns to the internet for comfort and connects with a charming stranger. When she turns up dead of an apparent suicide, her sister (Holly) refuses to believe that she would ever leave her children without a mother and begins the hunt for the real killer.

World Rally Championship

What’s It All About? The FIA World Rally Championship will now be seen in millions of U.S. households thanks to this 12-part series, the result of a deal with HD Theater. The one-year agreement provides HD Theater with coverage from each of the 12 worldwide 2009 WRC race events. Additionally, race previews and short-form content featuring news updates from each day of the rally will be made available to the network.

What To Expect: Each episode of Season 2 tackles a true-life, truly weird animal story. The season premiere focuses on creatures with astonishing mutations that push genetic science to the breaking point, from a deer with two tails and six legs to a lamb with a fifth limb. This is followed by another new episode about the peculiar animals some people keep as pets, from a raccoon and a seal to blank panthers.

When the original incarnation of Live By Request aired on A&E from 1996-2004, performers’ set lists were determined by viewer phone calls. Now, there are even more ways in which fans can let their requests be known. The Nov. 7 premiere special, featuring a performance by John Fogerty, fully engages viewers across multiple platforms via live interactive video requests, call-in requests, and text, e-mail and social network requests. It offers a unique connection between the artists and their fans. Fogerty’s appearance airs live as a two-hour special fundraising program for PBS member stations nationwide.

What To Expect: In Season 2, Richard, Kahlan and Zedd encounter an array of new characters, both good and evil, and will be tested in ways they never could have imagined. The trio discover that in defeating Darken Rahl, their victory is short-lived, as they inadvertently unleashed an even greater evil on the world. Tabrett Bethell joins the cast as a regular, reprising her role as Cara, a Mord’Sith that creates tension between Richard and Kahlan. Jolene Blalock (Star Trek: Enterprise) will have a recurring role as a mysterious Sister of the Dark who possesses very powerful magic, who not only threatens Richard’s quest to defeat evil forces, but seeks to destroy Kahlan. Charisma Carpenter will guest star in the season premiere as a wicked Mord’Sith named Triana. The 22 episodes this season are based on Terry Goodkind’s book Stone of Tears.
