What’s It All About? In Disney’s sequel to 2008’s ratings and merchandising juggernaut Camp Rock — 10.1 million viewers tuned in — teen sensations Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers return to camp for a summer full of music. But this time around, the conflict centers on a rival camp that threatens to put Camp Rock out of business. Banking on the success of the first film’s soundtrack, which sold over 2.5 million copies, Disney pre-released the Camp Rock 2 soundtrack, which features 15 original songs, on July 27. Kids, teens and families alike will surely be ready to rock come September.
