What’s It All About? Once a gifted neurosurgeon, Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) was forced out of her profession when a car accident damaged the nerves in her hands. Now she’s a medical examiner working in tandem with the Philadelphia Police Department, using her deep medical insight — and her driven, brazen personality — to read victims’ bodies and solve tough cases. But Hunt is a workaholic, and it’s cost her a marriage and the custody of her daughter. She’s unpleasant to most of those around her, even if she is right most of the time. And that’s where this series may have difficulty winning viewers. Quincy, M.E. portrayed a similar scenario years ago, but Quincy was a likable guy who went to Danny’s when the case was over. Hunt is likely to go back to the morgue and hang out with the victim for old time’s sake.
