Who Is In It? Joanna Garcia, Jennifer Finnigan, Josh Cooke, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurt Fuller
What’s It All About? Three couples at various stages of their relationships. The premise lacks originality but we do like the cast, especially the pairing of parents Rupp (That ’70s Show) and Fuller (Big Day). What really makes the show work, though — when it does — is Jake Lacy as Casey, a carefree oddball who combines the best elements of Friends’ Phoebe and Joey. That should come as little surprise, considering that creator Shana Goldberg-Meehan was a longtime writer on that show.
